- Book with Dr. Janiece StewartJaniece Stewart, or as many affectionately refer to as “Dr. J”, is an established and highly skilled Sports Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics physician practicing in the St. Louis and surrounding area for over 10 years. She is well regarded in the community earning numerous accolades for her quality and patient centered care. Dr. Stewart graduated from The University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign and attended medical school at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois, where she completed an Internal Medicine and Pediatric residency. She also completed a competitive fellowship in Sports Medicine at O’Connor Hospital in San Jose, California. She is a respected researcher, assistant professor and university lecturer. She has been a sub-investigator on numerous clinical trials throughout her medical career and is a highly sought-after speaker and presenter for medical conferences in her field. Her work has been published in professional journals including; The Sports Medicine Resource Manual and Peds-Study Board Review Course for Pediatrics.
Dr. Janiece Stewart
Dr. J personally experienced some major unexpected health setbacks a few years ago and was diagnosed with two autoimmune disorders, lupus-like syndrome and Sjogren’s Disease. As a result, she delved deeper into educating herself on natural, hō’listik remedies to treat her symptoms, including cannabis medicine. She has gained additional education and certification about the cannabis plant through the MediCanna Academy, National Wellness Academy, and Healer. Now, she has made it her mission to share what she has learned and not only educate others, but to empower people to take control of their health by applying these remedies to themselves. She believes education is the key to understanding the many benefits of cannabis and other hō’listik treatment options. Dr. Stewart certifies qualifying patients for medical cannabis and performs sports medicine consultations in her private practice in St. Louis, Missouri and on a collaborative basis with other area medical clinics.
